£1million target – 2019 Festival Appeal Launch

Preparations are well under way for the 2019 Festival Appeal in aid of The Grand Charity, which will culminate in 2019.

The Festival was launched at the Annual Communication of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Shropshire on 12th April 2014 by the Provincial Grand Master, Peter Allan Taylor.

When a province is ‘in Festival’ the charitable efforts of all Lodges and individual Masons are directed to raising funds for the chosen charity. The Provincial Grand Master has set a target of £1 MILLION for the 2019 Shropshire Festival in aid of The Freemasons’ Grand Charity and each Lodge will have a target to work towards. Each Mason is encouraged to give a figure equivalent to a pint of beer a week, which will enable the Province to reach our target and support the work of The Grand Charity – to benefit our own Province, and also causes supported by The Grand Charity throughout the UK and worldwide.
