Forester Chapter 7221 was consecrated on 4th May 1960.
We meet four times a year at the Masonic Temple, Constitution Hill, Wellington, on the third Tuesday in January and the first Tuesday in March, May and finally in November which is our Installation Convocation.
Convocations usually start at 6.00 p.m. and as we hold our Festive Boards in the Dining Room adjoining the Temple, the evening is almost always finished by 10.00 p.m..
We mostly get our candidates from the Wellington Lodges and Audley Lodge in Newport but we have “open arms” for potential members from all over the Province. We are small in number but our welcome for Royal Arch Companion visitors and potential members is warm and inviting. Being smaller means that progression can begin quite quickly with little time being spent before ascending the ladder.
Some Chapters might be formed with special interests but Forester Chapter has members from all walks of life and welcomes everyone.
The quality of the ritual is important to us, for ritual properly delivered is both a pleasure to deliver and so much more interesting to receive.
