Armed Forces Covenant signed at Crewe Street
Following the recent signing of a Covenant in support of the Armed Forces by the Grand Master at Grand Lodge’s Great Queen Street headquarters, a similar Covenant was produced and signed at Crewe Street in early June. A certain amount of pageantry (including music!) attended the occasion, which formalises the close support which Freemasonry has already given to members of the Armed Forces over many years.
Present were representatives of the Forces including Lt. Col. Samantha Brettell; Shropshire’s civil leaders (our High Sherriff Selina Graham attended and Deputy Lieutenant Dr Ashley Fraser signed) as well as Provincial Grand Master, Roger Pemberton.
