Festival Garden Party

The rain threatened briefly but held off - and the Sunday afternoon Festival Garden Party at Mill House was a great success, with 69 people attending and excellent food and drink enjoyed in beautiful surroundings. Particular thanks to Roger and Monica for opening up their house and garden to all; to Monica and Petrina who slaved away in the kitchen to prepare a wonderful ‘spread’; to Jeremy, Stephen, Harmesh, Tom Kiely, Andy Clarke, Peter Robinson and others for their help, and to the guests who enjoyed this happy event.

Although not designed principally as a fund raising event, tickets and a special raffle (especial thanks to those who donated the prizes) together will have ensured that well over £2000 will go towards our Festival target for 2030.
