Support for Armed Forces charities and Royal British Legion

Huge thanks to all Shropshire Freemasons who this year have supported those who have served their country - whether by wearing a poppy, selling poppies in local supermarkets - or, in the case of Shropshire Combined Services Lodge, by giving £1000 to BLESMA - the limbless veterans’ charity.

You may be interested to read that the poppy stand in Shrewsbury’s Sainsbury’s store this year wildly surpassed expectations, and generated £35,000 for the Royal British Legion - a record amount! Around half of those who manned the stall were Shropshire Freemasons. Our thanks to all who have helped or contributed in any way.
