Teme Lodge Centenary Meeting

Teme Lodge (number 4267) was Consecrated on 24th May, 1921, and so becomes the latest Shropshire lodge to achieve 100 years of active life. This was finally celebrated in style at Ludlow Racecourse this November, with a large and happy attendance. As well as many Masons from around the Province and beyond, there was a large contingent of Ladies present to witness the Lodge’s special day.

Provincial Grand Master Roger Pemberton presided, a new Centenary banner was dedicated and a history of the Lodge was given by Provincial Senior Warden David Hedley - both a printed version and a shortened digest of some of the main happenings recorded in the century gone by. The Lodge has a peculiarity in that it has usually met in or near Knighton, but while the actually meeting places have often been in Wales or Herefordshire, the Lodge ‘belongs’ to Shropshire, this being the Province with the easiest access!

Pictured are many of the happy revellers. Good luck for the next hundred years!!
