Once again thanks to the generous support of Shropshire Masons children in temporary housing and refuges across the county have received presents to make their Christmas a little brighter. This year there has been a significant increase in the number of families in this situation and this has meant that there were 50 more children on our list and all received a bag with gifts and chocolate inside. Many of these children have left everything behind through no fault of their own and the financial pressure on families at this time of year is huge, so we hope our contribution will let them know there are people who care.

To make this happen we start buying gifts in September and with the assistance of wrapping experts, including Masonic Elves,  all was ready to be delivered at the start of December. The presents are kindly distributed by the housing teams at Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin Councils.

Thank you to all who assisted and supported us this year including all the Lodges who donated and those who gave up their time to make it all happen. I hope that we can call upon your kindness once again next year. Have a Merry Christmas and a peaceful new year.
