Lodge Profile
Caer Caradoc Lodge No 6346 was consecrated on Thursday 12th September 1946, under the Warrant of the United Grand Lodge of England. It is one of 36 Lodges within the Province of Shropshire.
Caer Caradoc Lodge is at the Heart of the Community. Meetings are held in an evening on the second Friday of each month from September to April with the exception of December, which is on the first Friday. They take place at The Masonic Hall, 65 High Street, Church Stretton, SY6 6BY. The building is jointly owned with Longmynd Lodge who also meet there. The building has recently undergone major refurbishment to provide modern facilities.
Caer Caradoc Lodge membership is drawn from many different backgrounds and a warm welcome is guaranteed to new members irrespective of race, colour or creed. Members are treated as individuals, whilst still being part of a team. They are encouraged but not pressurised to get actively involved in the Lodge affairs and are supported by other Lodge members during their journey through Masonry. One way of achieving this is the monthly Lodge of Instruction.
One of the main aims of Caer Caradoc Lodge is charity, and to this end the members are very active in the community and raise money for local charities. One way this is done is the Annual Santa Sleigh which travels in and around the Church Stretton and Craven Arms areas with all the monies collected being donated to local charities.
The Lodge is always happy to receive enquiries about Masonry and the contact email address of our Secretary is caercaradoclodge@gmail.com
