Remembrance events

Brethren are naturally invited to attend their own local Remembrance events, but should they wish to support the Provincial events in Shrewsbury on Sunday, 10th November, these are:

0930 marching party will leave Crewe Street to reach Shrewsbury Castle by about 0945h. You are welcome to join us at Crewe Street or at the Castle. We will be marching through the town - you are invited to wear dark Masonic dress with Masonic collars if appropriate but NOT aprons and DEFINITELY NOT breast jewels (which may be confused with medals). A wreath will be laid at the cenotaph in the Quarry Park by VW Bro Jeremy Lund.

1030 at Crewe Street there will be our own Act of Remembrance at the war memorial, attended by RW Bro Roger Pemberton, many other guests and especially local residents (some of who are descendants of the families commemorated on the memorial). RW Bro Pemberton will lay a wreath there.

Refreshments will be available after both events at Crewe Street for those who wish to attend.
