Lodge Profile

We are a new and modern Freemasonry Lodge, formed in 2015, that meets at least four times per year (plus Lodge of Instruction and social events) in Wellington, Shropshire, close to the local bus and train station with ample nearby parking.

One of the aims of The Iron Bridge Lodge, No. 9897 (TIBL) is to attract the modern working man with later starting times, earlier finishing times and a young average age.

The other aim is to attract students, graduates and staff from all Universities, campuses and places of higher education within Shropshire. To this end we are an active member of the University scheme (see https://www.universitiesscheme.com/ ). We also welcome graduates and staff who are now living or working in Shropshire.

We look forward to meeting anyone interested in joining Freemasonry and our Lodge Membership team will carefully explain the Candidate’s Charter, process of joining and anything else you may wish to know. We also would like to extend a warm invitation to any Mason who would like to visit us or wish to be considered for joining membership.
